I am so very sorry Cyndie. Losing my first glider was the most devestating emotional thing I have ever gone through. I have lost 2 and quite frankly I never want to feel that bad again. No words will make this any easier for you. I know where you are at. Hang in there. You have all the support you need right here.

I am sorry for your loss. May your memories of Sprite comfort you in the days to come.

The thoughts and prayers are very needed and welcome. I took Sprite to have a necropsy done in Nashville. All I know so far is it was her liver. When the lab reports come back I hope to know more. I am still mad, hurt, angry... you pick a feeling I have been that way. Sprite was to young to die. I am being selfish all I want is her back. I want to bury her under the pear tree but in order to get her back once they opened her up I had to have her cremated so I still haven't got to bring her home yet. I will sprinkle her ashes under the tree and if legal I will send some to Australia so she can be released back in to the wild. I will have to look in to that but later I am not ready just yet. I just wish they would let me bring her home faster.

Cindy, words cannot express my sorrow for you. I know the pains of losing many gliders. I remember when I lost Saleen to cancer. She was only two. I thought it was not fair and how she suffered but I didn't know she was suffering. Your pain is deep and it will take you a long time to heal. I called yesterday - not knowing ...Now I know and am so sad.
When the sparrow falls from the nest, it does not go unnoticed by God. He knows all and knew this day would come for Sprite.. Sprite is in the hands of her Maker. There is no more pain for her. I'll pray for you. Call me when you are ready to talk. I know that "alone" feeling you are having right now.

Cyndie, I just now saw this, I am so sorry to hear about Sprite. I know how hard you have been fighting to keep your babies healthy.

Sheila is right. While we may not understand, there is a plan for Sprite & she is well. Take comfort in that - you have my number, use it if you need more comfort (((HUGS)))

Cindy I just saw this also I am so sorry I know how you are feeling right now as losing my Ariel in July is still painful to think about. You will miss her dearly but time will heal. If you want to talk pm me I am more than willling to listen.
