I'm not sure if this should be here or behavior forum. Any way, I just got 2 wodent wheels, one with nail 'o matic, so I can interchange them in the cages. None of my 5 kids seem interested in them at all! Gizmo got in one time, took a couple of steps and jumped out. Also, it's been in there 2 days, and there is no diiference in their nails at all. I'm still going to put it in other cage today though. I've tried to put them in and they just jump out. Is this a learned activity or what? I'm really disappointed in this.

What are the ages of your gliders? Give them time, they will figure out how much fun it is.

My gliders somtimes love the wheel and sometimes don't look at it or they think it is a big climbing place.
I just depend on the mood you gliders is in't, and I heard that some gliders don't ever use the wheel.

I think a gliders is a induvidual. so it could be he/she aren't interested.

Well, I guess I'll try to pique their interest somehow. It seems a shame after everything I've read on here about them loving them. Guess you're right though, they're all individuals. (just an expensive toy if none of them like it!) Thanks, Tiger

Hey Tiger, don`t give up on that wheel. My girl didn`t touch hers when I brought her home. She learned from Nicky how to use it and I got him a couple weeks after I got her. If they`ve never used a wheel before, it will take time before they really understand what it`s for. I thought I wasted my money when I bought Nina a wheel but now she runs practically the whole night through lol. Be patient with them, one of them is bound to figure it out and the rest of them will follow

I think at least one of them is bound to figure it out and love it!

Between Ogre & Mona- Mona is the only one that uses their wheel Ogre just isn't a jogger I guess- he's always perched over that darn food bowl!

It did take Mona a few weeks to get comfortable in her wheel... I think she still feels a little nervous sometimes cuz she never goes very fast like the others- but maybe she's just slower... I don't think Ogre ever will like it.

It takes a while sometimes! I've put wheels in and they hop in and go crazy right away- or they're like Ogre & Mona!
