hello everyone,
i have a gal in altoona, pa that wants my joeys.
i told her they were illegal in pa. she emailed me back and said they are not illegal but you cant breed gliders without a permit.

does anybody know if this is true, she is very interested in my joeys.

They are only legal in PA with appropriate permits and PA isn't issuing any permits.

There are several threads about PA regulations you may want to look over. But the gist of it is that unless she has a permit to OWN them (not just breeding, but to own/transport them within the state) then they are illegal for her to have.

I would at the very least tell her that before you will sell to her, you will require a certified copy of her permit to own them in her state.

Tell her to get her permit first, then come back to you. I doubt she will. It's the state's way of dealing with the problem. Make them legal by saying they need a permit, and then deny all the permits.
