Ok guys...dirty truth time:

What are the TOP THREE nasty/naughty things you have caught your gliders eating?

I'll start:

1) Ice Cream
2) Soap
3) Dog Drool (look away child...look away)

Starting from the most acceptable...

3) Dusty old popcorn from under the couch

2) Dish washing brush (I don't know if it's the soap residue or microscopic bits of food, but they love chewing it!)

1) Drain Candy (That's what I call the tiny particles of food stuck in the sink strainer. It's Winky's all time favorite treat.)

You won't find mine doing that, they have eaten parrot kibble when they get loose, but nothing like that.

I forgot to put my toothpaste up once. Dot chewed the lid off... And I was right there... I didn't see a thing till the lid hit the floor. Dot turned around and looked at me with bubbles coming out her nose.
A toilet paper roll right out of the bathroom trash can. I used to make treat wraps out of them.

1. Skadoosh caught and ate a fly, omg, I actually saw this happen, so cool, but kind of gross.
2. This was a weird dream, but they were all eating a field mouse in their cage. I guess it doesn't really count though, cause it wasn't really happening, but still! Ewww Gross!

There really isn't anything else, because they don't really have access to anything.

Whatever they are able to fit in their mouth, they'll at least try to eat.

I still remember years ago when Connie Smalls gliders caught a field mouse and were eating it by the time she got in the glider room to find out what all the screaming (mouse being eaten alive) was.

Maybe I can train mine to be guard-gliders to defend my home when I'm away.

Then again, they'd end up just jumping on anyone, taking a nibble, then begging for treats.
